Job description
A Contract Software Developer is required to ensure that development for the clients systems is carried out following all appropriate standards, to the highest quality, in business priority order to the highest Customer Service standards.
Responsibilities;
- Translating requirements into technical solutions
- Providing accurate estimates for the development of solutions
- Producing well structured, efficient and reliable code
- Managing code using the code management tool of choice
- Review existing code
Experience;
- Proven experience of end-to-end development of high-quality software applications
- Proven competence in delivering software solutions using the Microsoft technology stack (C#, .NET, ASP.NET, MVC, SQL Server)
- Experience of managing code using a source code management tool such as TFS or Git
Technical Skills;
Essential;
- C#
- ASP.NET MVC
- SQL Server
- NUnit or equivalent testing framework
Desirable;
- nHibernate or Entity Framework
- HTML5
- CSS3
- JavaScript
- JQuery
- NSubstitute or equivalent mocking framework
- VB/.NET
