Title: Talend Developer/Designer
Length: 3 Months initially
Location: Southampton
Daily Rate: Negotiable
Skills & Experience
- Knowledge/Experience of different MDM Implementation styles
- Experience defining Data Architectures, Data Models and Physical Schemas, MDM and related Data Warehouse solutions
- Ability to do scoping/estimating of design and development tasks and carry out both design and development
- Demonstrable experience on a number of data related projects
- Good understanding of assurance of MDM solutions and implementation guidelines
- Should have knowledge of non-functional areas like scalability, availability, failover, performance and cloud implementations
- Good written communication skills
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently
Hands-on experience with most of the following:
- Data Management
- Data Mappings
- Data Quality Management
- Exception Management
- Data Migration
- Information Governance
Solid, demonstrable, hands-on experience in following technologies
- Talend MDM (TOS, MDM Server, Runtime, Clustering)
- Talend DI (TOS, DI Server, TAC)
- Java
- MySQL and/or SQL Server
- XML and JSON
Sound knowledge on building Talend jobs based on:
- Load patterns
- DI/DQ patterns
MDM patterns (standardisation, enrichment, matching, merging and survivorship)
