Control Engineer - Alton - £30,000 - £45,000

An excellent client of ours is looking for a Control Engineer to their established team based in Hampshire. The role of control engineer is very important to our client as you will be crucial in ensuring the company exceeds expectations of their clients. Your technical knowledge and ability will ensure the best outcomes for both your own and other projects. You will be expected to deal with other teams, clients, and suppliers in a friendly and professional manner. This is a great opportunity for a forward thinking, dedicated and ambitious Control Engineer to join a brilliant team.
Skills required:
- To write software for PLCs, controllers, and computers
- Select and configure SCADA systems
- Configure Batch and Historian systems
- Configure MES systems
- Write technical manuals for projects
Role requirements:
- Manage multi-skill projects consisting of single controllers in standalone applications
- Ensure all clients standards are complied with
- Liaise with clients at levels from project engineers or managers to shop floor
- Ensure project diagrams and manuals are kept up to date and issued to clients
- Ensure all project records and details are kept up to date in the office
