SQL Database Analyst - Portsmouth Area - £28,000 - £35,000
SQL Server, Admin, Data Analysis, Development, BI, ETL, DBA -
A SQL Data Analyst is required to join the Data and Insights team for a large, well known brand at one of their offices based in Portsmouth. The company themselves offer a collaborative environment, great scope for progression, modern offices and a strong benefits package. The role would focus on the companies SQL databases, so SQL database admin or analysis experience is essential, with a clear path into SQL Development and any prior experience in BI/ Visualisation will certainly be a benefit!
The company offer innovative backend software solutions and this role would focus on administering, developing, managing and optimizing the company's SQL databases. The company heavily promote training and progression internally and would be happy to consider candidates from Data Analyst or DBA backgrounds who are keen to build on some existing SQL skills and move into a SQL developer / Database developer position.
Essential experience:
- SQL Database administration experience
- SQL Data analysis
- SQL Scripting skills
- Understanding of ETL processes
- Understanding of Agile, SCRUM
- Degree educated
Any experience in the following would be advantageous:
- Knowledge of BI; SSIS, SSAS, SSRS
- SQL 2017
- Microsoft Azure
- .Net programming skills
