We have an opportunity for a Development Team Lead to join a successful software company who develop products that are used by the engineering industry with the aim of making cost savings and reducing risk by optimising their information management systems. Based in the university city of Cambridge, this company invest heavily in their vision of creating great software that their users love and producing a positive, professional environment where their employees and develop and thrive.

Due to sustained growth, they are looking for a talented senior developer to become the technical leader of a small team, working with product owners to develop and drive their flagship software product that is used globally by leading engineering companies. The successful candidate will help develop innovative functionalities, allowing customers to interact with their data, build back-end solutions to ensure they can manage their databases and optimising the application to ensure efficiency. You will also work closely with product owners to define features and priorities, ensuring that customer needs are balanced against development costs.

To be suitable for this position, you will need the following skills and experience:
- Technical gravitas across C#, .NET and SQL as a senior developer or technical lead
- Strong experience of .NET libraries and frameworks
- Excellent debugging and diagnostic skills with the ability to resolve technical problems with simple solutions
- Extensive experience of Agile development processes
- Stakeholder and customer engagement skills
- Good knowledge of CSS, HTML, T-SQL, TypeScript etc.
- Strong attention to detail
