Job description
Electronic Design Engineer required by a high-tech company in Poole. Due to continued success and growth they are seeking an experienced candidate with knowledge of designing and developing electronic circuits including PCB layout and schematic capture.
The successful Senior Electronic Design Engineer is likely to have a relevant degree in electronic engineering or similar and will have extensive commercial experience in electronic design.
The Senior Electronic Design Engineer will play a crucial role in improving design methods liaising with numerous parts of the business.
Experience in the following areas is sought;
- Creation of schematic designs & PCB layout for system on chip based systems
- Microcontroller based systems - STM32 or similar
Any knowledge of the following would be advantageous;
- Altium
- CAN bus protocol
- EMC compliance
- Electronics Workbench
- Digital & analogue design
