Job description
Engineering Manager required by a growing, high-tech company located in Fareham. The successful candidate will lead a multi-discipline design team comprising of software engineers and electronic engineers spanning technology from FPGA design, embedded software/firmware through to embedded Linux and application level software development.
The successful candidate should be enthusiastic about technology and be happy to do some hands on work be that in electronic design, RF or software development whilst leading the design team.
The engineering manager will lead a design team consists of engineers working across the following areas;
- Embedded software (both low level - MSP430 - and embedded Linux)
- Application software - C++, C#
- FPGA design
- RF design
The engineering manager is likely to have a technical background in one or more of the following areas;
- FPGA design
- RF engineering
- Embedded software
- Application software development
The Engineering Manager will bridge the gap between technology and the business - gathering requirements from customers and ensuring that the design team work collaboratively to successfully deliver products.
