Front End Developer - Cosham, Portsmouth - £30,000 - £40,000
Web Design/ HTML/ CSS / Javascript / JQuery/ Wordpress / Front End Development
Our client, based in the Lakeside complex in Cosham, near Portsmouth, are currently recruiting for a Front End Developer to join their Web Design team. They are looking for a candidate with prior commercial experience in Front End development and, more specifically, experience with HTML, CSS and Javascript to work with a small and focused Web Design and Development team. They are ideally looking for people with prior experience working within SME/SMB size companies or someone who is open to the challenges and opportunities this can bring!
The client themselves are a fantastic smaller brand with a great, innovative product. They are an established SME business that after years of growth are continuing to only go from strength to strength. They are now partnered with large, well known brands and last year were ranked 35th fastest growing company among many other accolades. It's a really exciting time to join their company and have the opportunity to grow and progress with them!
What they're looking for:
- Web Design - Work with the teams (including a small UX/UI team) to provide basic implementation of the general design
- HTML/ CSS experience
- Ideally have some experience with Javascript
- Experience with a static site generator (they're currently using Jekyll so specific experience with Jekyll will bring extra brownie points!)
- Commercial experience with Wordpress (preferable but not essential)
- Experience with google lighthouse audits (again, not essential but would be a bonus!)
