Front-End JavaScript Developer - JavaScript, React, Angular, Agile
£28,000 - £40,000 + Benefits based on experience

This is a great opportunity for an enthusiastic Front-End Developer to join a forward-thinking Software company at an exciting time. The company have a number of projects running across various product teams using the latest technologies and the business promote an excellent company culture and relaxed working environment. The initial Greenfield project will involve using JavaScript and React, however candidates with Angular2+ experience willing and able to learn React will be considered.

The company is investing heavily in IT and this role will specifically work with JavaScript and recent library's (React) and further experience with HTML, CSS, Java, UX, Cloud products and Agile, so experience in similar environment is preferred. The JavaScript Developer plays a key function in the development of all the UI, Web and customer interfacing services for a number of products. Applicants will need to demonstrate commercial experience of modern development practices (Agile, Continuous Integration, TDD or similar) and a minimum of 1-2 years' experience working with JavaScript and related front-end technologies.

Essential Technical Requirements

  • JavaScript programming skills (1-3 years+)
  • Experience with JavaScript library's such as Angular2 or Emberjs
  • React is highly beneficial
  • UI development with HTML, CSS
  • Agile, SCRUM understanding
  • Excellent communication skills, able to work effectively with various teams
  • A degree in a related subject, Computer Science, Mathematics, Science is preferred
