An exciting new opportunity for a skilled Full Stack Developer to join a fast growth and innovative Cyber Security Specialist based in Basingstoke. You will have the option to be based either in the Basingstoke or London office.

Our client use a range of technology and development languages to deliver high capacity software and systems. They are open to different backgrounds of technology as long as you have commercial experience of working in a Full Stack capacity, have a creative mind-set and are well versed in Object Oriented programming. This role will focus on JavaScript and surrounding technologies on the front end and Ruby on the backend, you don't need prior experience of Ruby as training will be provided.

The development work will be full stack requiring solid understanding of both front and back end development.

Essential:

  • JavaScript, HTML/CSS development
  • Ruby on Rails ideally OR a solid OO programming language with transferable skills i.e. C++, Python, Java, PHP etc.
  • JavaScript + libraries including JQuery, AngularJS OR React
  • Experience of Unit testing
  • RESTful Web API''s
  • Passion for writing clean code
  • MySQL
  • Experience of using GIT for version control
  • Great communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal

Beneficial:

  • Ruby on Rails - please note that they will offer training for this language
  • An interest in Cyber Security
  • Experience of developing on Linux servers / machines
