Full Stack Software Engineer - Python, JavaScript, NodeJS, Django
Hampshire: Southampton, Winchester area
Salary based on experience + benefits and flexible / home working

We are looking for an enthusiastic and innovative Software Engineer, Software Developer, Programmer who loves problem solving and learning new technology. Someone with a progressive mindset who is excited by developing new tech solutions in a growing business.

The ideal person would be an established software developer, however you might be finishing a degree and have some excellent project work you can demonstrate, essentially the business is open to individuals who can show a willingness to learn and good programming skills, especially with Python.

The company's products are built on a broad range of technologies however Python and Django will be the main languages used, alongside JavaScript, NodeJS, HTML, and CSS. You will join an established team of software engineers, testers and senior management staff working to Agile processes in a flexible working environment.

Your Skills & Experience:

  • You need to love programming and be excited about solving problems with technology
  • Python, Django - ideally you will have built apps using these
  • JavaScript, JQuery
  • HTML, CSS
  • Agile understanding
  • Excellent communicator - able to work as part of a collaborative team

Desirable:

  • NodeJS
  • Experience with Git and CI, Jenkins, etc
  • Degree educated in an IT, Mathematical related topic

Salary and Scope…

Salary: £30,000 - £40,000 + benefits and flexible working - the business offer a good work/life balance, so start and finish times are flexible and home working is optional.

The business aren't looking for senior programmers who have done it all, but those on an upward career trajectory who want to join a company that offers scope for progression, training and upskilling.
