£32,000 - £38,000 + benefits, flexible hours, training & career progression
Hampshire - Farnborough
An exciting opportunity for a GIS analyst has come to the market to join an established organisation located in Farnborough, Hampshire. As a GIS analyst you will be working closely with the relevant teams and end users within the business to oversee all aspects of the companies GIS systems which will involve the administration, support and on-going development of the environment. You will responsible for making best use of the systems, maps and data to enhance the service for internal and external customers using cutting edge technologies. The successful candidate is likely to come from a GIS background and have experience in the following areas;
Key Skills/Experience
- GIS systems experience
- Database knowledge - SQL or Oracle
- Scripting experience - Python/FME. JavaScript would be desirable
- Data Analysis
- Ability to work with complex datasets across a variety of applications.
- General IT infrastructure knowledge
- Liaising with a variety of internal and external stakeholders
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
