Graduate Applications Engineer - FinTech

We have a fantastic opportunity for a high achieving Graduate with ambition and the enthusiasm to develop a career in the highly rewarding and fast growth FinTech sector.
Your role will be to provide Technical Product Support to leading businesses within the financial services sector; Supporting innovative technology solutions, aiding in product development and liaising with high profile customers to offer first-class support.
You will join a structured training programme which will see you learn the company's products and processes, this training will be a continuous theme throughout your career with the business.
Once up to speed graduates can see their salary double within a 3 to 4 year timescale. Not to say this is all about the money, the company are looking for individuals with ambition to develop a long term career in FinTech product support and who want to provide the best service to high value customers.
You will be working with a down to earth and motivated team and will work normal office hours with a degree of flexibly around start and finish times. The dress code is relaxed and you will also receive a top-spec lap top OR MacBook Pro and an IPhone 8.
This is a great opportunity to be become part of an excellent IT Team, who will provide training to ensure that your technical skills will always be on the bleeding edge.
The applications are based in Java, SQL & Oracle so experience or exposure to this would be ideal.
Key Sills
- BSc or MSc in an IT subject - 2:1 OR above
- Strong A-Level results in Maths, Physics and/or similar
- Excellent communication skills - verbal & written
- Enthusiastic and eager to learn with a passion for leading edge & innovative technology
- Proactive approach to problem solving
- Knowledge of Java or another OO programming language
- Knowledge of Windows or Linux platforms
Desirable Skills
- Oracle or SQL database skills
- Sandwich placement with a FinTech Company
