Graduate / Junior Embedded Software Engineer
£30,000 - £40,000 per annum
Bicester, Oxfordshire
Graduate / Junior Embedded Software Engineer required by a growing engineering company located in Bicester. Due to continued success and planned expansion the company are looking to hire a Graduate / Junior Embedded Software Engineer to join their existing team.
The company has a great track record of hiring recent graduates and junior engineers from Electronic Engineering, Computer Science or similar academic backgrounds and helping them progress into one of various different areas of the business - from team / project management to becoming a subject matter expert in one area of technology /product development. There are various potential avenues for progression.
The successful Graduate / Junior Embedded Software Engineer is likely to have a degree in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering or similar and an enthusiasm for software engineering. The role would suit a graduate with some commercial experience in embedded software engineering.
Whilst the role would be focused on embedded software engineering using C/C++ you will also be working with electronics/firmware and system design.
Essential Experience;
- C/C++ programming knowledge
- Embedded or electronic systems knowledge
Any experience in one or more of the following is not essential but would be advantageous;
- Application software development with C#, WPF
- PCB design
- System design - UML, Data Flow, FMEA
