Head of Enterprise Infrastructure


Excellent Salary + 10% Bonus, 7% Pension and £4,800 Car Allowance

Head of Enterprise Infrastructure required to join a leading software company based in Worcester. You will ensure that all services provided by the Enterprise Hosted Infrastructure remain at optimal availability and all client requests are met within agreed KPI's / SLA's. The role will be a mixture of 80% project work / 20% BAU work. You will be responsible for the man management of a team of circa 22 people including 1-2-1 meetings, Progression and Technical Mentoring. The whole infrastructure is customer hosted and the role will involve a lot of customer integrations and migrations so experience of working in this environment before is really useful. You will also have budget responsibility and supplier management accountability.

You will have the following skills and experience:-

  • Previous management experience in a busy Service Operations environment / IT Service Environment
  • Preparation and delivery of IT strategies; system integration, technical support and service delivery
  • Commercial IT Infrastructure development and support experience of Enterprise deployments
  • Previous experience in the delivery of project-based IT implementations
  • Understanding of Web Technologies
  • Relationship management of 3rd party suppliers
  • Experience with automated monitoring processes and incident management tools

Desirable Skills:-

  • ITIL certified
  • Familiarity of Linux and Windows Server platforms
  • Familiarity with SQL (Microsoft / MySQL)
