IT Helpdesk Engineer

Job description

A IT Helpdesk Engineer is required to join a leading IT Support company, based from their head office in the Petersfield area.

My client provides IT Support services to numerous companies based around the Hampshire area. You will be required to provide remote and customer facing / on-site support for my client working 1st and 2nd line support within a Microsoft environment. You will be helping to support the Server environment and networking where required. My clients' customer base ranges from small to medium businesses that they built up trusted relationships with.

The ideal candidate for this IT Helpdesk Engineer position will be working within an IT Support environment and preferably within a Managed Service Provider.

You will have experience within:

  • Windows 7, 8 & 10
  • Exposure to Active Directory, Exchange or Server 2012
  • Networking
  • A full UK driving license

As part of your role will be working with end users, both remotely from the office and on customer site communication and customer service skills must be very strong.

As IT Helpdesk Engineer you can expect a salary between £22k - £28k depending on experience with benefits including, pension, 21 days holiday, Childcare Vouchers, free parking etc.
