A logistics company with national coverage are looking for a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to join the business as they looking to improve their technical capability.
The Senior Infrastructure Engineer will be required to have significant input into the organisations future infrastructure and 3rd party supervision.
The successful Infrastructure Engineer will have the following skills, experience and attributes:
- Strong commercial 3rd Line or Infrastructure project experience.
- Solid understanding of the wider infrastructure and specialisms within this.
- The ability to community effectively with staff across all levels and customers.
- Experienced in commuting technical issues to non-technical staff.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to manage own and team workloads.
The Infrastructure Engineer will have the following responsibilities:
- Influence towards the design, implementation, managing, maintenance and documentation of the company infrastructure.
- Act as point of authority for infrastructure issues and policy implementation.
- Management and support of the existing security products.
- The monitoring of security vulnerabilities and threat protection.
- Creation and maintenance of IT security policies.
- Project Management of security implementations.
