IT Infrastructure Support Engineer

A niche Software product company requires a IT Infrastructure Support Engineer to join their growing support team.

The Role

  • To provide design, configuration and support for all IT & Communications infrastructure and services
  • Work with application teams on new installs, upgrades and application deployments for client environments (including operating systems and dependent software products within physical, virtual and related infrastructure)
  • Work with application teams on development and maintenance of data integration s/w (ETLs)
  • Ensuring that IT services meet committed SLAs - for both internal and client facing systems
  • Lead Projects in IT service provision ( Provisioning, hosting, performance & management )

The successful IT Infrastructure Engineer will have:

  • Proven track recorded in infrastructure provisioning and support.
  • Experience of at least one of the following

Azure

Office 365

Active Directory

Ubuntu Linux

Windows Server

MySQL

Networking

Server/Network Monitoring tools

  • Experience of at least one of the following

Apache Tomcat

Java

SSO (OpenSAML/ADFS),

NagiosXI

Tririga

VMware

Windows 10

Oracle

MS SQL Server

VPN,

VOIP Products

ITIL Foundation Articulate

Experience of working with external service providers ( Hosting, Cloud, Networking )
