IT Infrastructure Support Engineer - Portsmouth - Up to £45k
IT Infrastructure Support Engineer is required to join a specialist commercial refurbishment company based out of their office in Portsmouth.
The role of IT Infrastructure Support Engineer will involve working as part of a team focusing on managing and implementing complex solutions throughout the organisation. This involves delivering solutions and resolving internal and external IT issues via phone, email and in person.
The successful IT Infrastructure Engineer will be working within a Microsoft Infrastructure environment and will therefore be technically fluent in supporting Windows Infrastructure, server platforms, and applications whilst delivering technical solutions to businesses in line with industry best practice.
You will have experience within:
- Windows Server 2012
- Windows 7, 8 & 10 desktop systems
- Exchange 2010, 2013 / O365
- Active Directory
- Firewall configuration / management (Cisco SonicWall)
- Networking (LAN / WAN) including wireless & VPN
As you will be working within a team environment, dealing within internal users and external customers, your communication skills, both written and verbal, must be exemplary. This role also provides the opportunity to train junior members, therefore is ideal for those seeking a position of responsibility.
