Job description
IT Manager required to join an established IT Team for my client based in Uckfield, East Sussex. As the IT Manager you will have the overall responsibility for the delivery of IT services across the business. The IT Team is made up of 4 internal teams which you will have complete management of, these are IT Support, IT Systems, Training and Software Development.
As an experienced IT Manager, you will be approachable and able to motivate technical staff. You will need to be able to define agile tactical solutions in order to meet business requirements and achieve strategic goals. You will also need to be an experienced senior infrastructure engineer with exposure to Microsoft Azure cloud.
In this role you will be responsible for:
- Setting the IT strategy
- Defining and delivering agile delivery models to support rapid growth
- Responsible for technical architecture, Azure and Office 365 infrastructure and configuration including hands on management and development of the Azure estate
- IT BAU tasks
- Design and deliver comprehensive and effective system monitoring and alerting mechanisms
- Engagement with Risk management processes and change control
- Budgetary control
