IT Manager, Systems Engineer
We are working with a world leading Industrial Technology company so are seeking a IT manager to join their team based in their HQ in Gloucestershire.
Your days will be varied and challenging, covering the whole spectrum of IT activities, from support to helping define our global IT operation and ongoing migration to cloud services. Equally important is maintaining and developing our in-house servers, business systems and our internal and external websites with their dynamic PHP based content and SQL databases.
Requirements:
- Implementation of IT operations including global office networking, cloud based services and disaster recovery.
- Configuration, management and administration of internal computer network.
- Website maintenance both internal and external.
- Development and maintenance of ERP systems and telephone systems.
Experience with the following will be advantageous:
- Windows or Linux operating systems
- Configuration and management of computer networks
- Develop and maintenance experience of websites (php, sql would be beneficial)
- Familiarity with the configuration of common network equipment such as routers and switches etc.
- Any knowledge of DHCP, DNS, LDAP, MySQL, Apache, Subversion.
- Jenkins based software build server.
- Any programming experience would be beneficial
- Knowledge or exposure to scripting languages also desirable
- Database configuration and programming
