IT Security Manager - Compliance / ISO 27001

We are recruiting for an IT Security Manager to join a well-established company in Hampshire. This company have obtained massive investment for the business and are therefore going through a real period of growth. This is a brand now role and essentially - first of its kind within the business, so an IT Security Manager who is able to 'hit the ground running' is imperative.
The IT Security Manager will have excellent stakeholder management skills and will be working with employees at all levels of the business up to Director / Head Of level, as well as external stakeholders including customers, suppliers, and governing bodies. Please note, this is not a team management role.
The key focus is to ensure the company is protected from Cyber and Information security risks, complies with all relevant legislation and follows security best practices; therefore, proven experience across Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) and ISO 27001 is essential.
The role offers a competitive salary up to £50,000 + the opportunity to have a real impact into defining the IT Security roadmap for the company.
Essential Skills:
- Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) / GDPR
- Deep understanding of ISO 27001
- Excellent Stakeholder management skills
- The drive and confidence to take on this pivotal and brand-new role for the company - with minimal assistance.
Desirable
- CISM, CISSP or similar certifications would be beneficial
