IT Service Desk Analyst is required to join a busy internal IT Helpdesk for a highly progressive company from their head office based in central Basingstoke.
The role OF IT Service Desk Analyst will involve providing 1st and 2nd line IT support to my clients' internal users / customers across telephone, remote email and occasional face to face support. You will be working within a Microsoft based environment within windows 7, 8 & 10 desktop systems, Exchange 2010 / 2013, Active Directory and Server 2012/2016. You will have to take all IT Support call from password resets, printer issues, bespoke application support through to new PC builds and setting up new users on the systems. You will be working within an ITIL environment and will understand the importance of good customer support.
The ideal candidate for the IT Service Desk Analyst will be working within a similar role at the moment and if possible have at least 6-12 months experience within an IT support position. Preferably you will have an industry recognised qualification such as an MCP or CompTIA A+ and if possible have an ITIL certification or have worked within an ITIL environment.
Furthermore you will have experience of:
- Windows desktop system including Windows 7, 8 & 10
- Basic user & security group AD administration
- Office 2010/2013/Office 365
- Experience with using and troubleshooting Outlook 2010 within a corporate environment (permissions, calendar sharing, delegation)
- Bespoke application support
As you will speaking to end users on a daily basis your communication skills, both verbal and written, must be exemplary.
