IT Support Engineer (2nd Line)

£24,000 - £28,000 + benefits, training & career progression

Weybridge - Surrey

An IT Support Engineer is required to join a growing and highly progressive IT Company from their head office based in Weybridge, Surrey. The IT Support Engineer will be involved in giving remote and onsite 2nd line support for my clients growing base of customers all within a Microsoft environment. This will include giving telephone, remote, email and face to face support. Our client does have a 1st line service desk team who deal with the initial calls so you will be acting as an escalation point to this team.

The successful candidate will have experience working within an IT support environment, preferably within IT outsourcing but this is not essential. You are likely to have experience in the following areas;

  • Windows Server administration 2016/2012/2008
  • Exchange 2010/2013
  • Active Directory
  • Networking
  • Windows Desktop - 7, 8 & 10
  • Anti-Virus software products
  • Office 365

As you will be speaking to my clients customers on a daily basis as well as being part of the rota to visit client sites face to face, then your communication skills must be very strong.
