IT Support Engineer - 2nd line, Service Desk, BAU & Projects

£30,000 - £40,000 + benefits, training & career progression

Weybridge - Surrey

An IT Support Engineer is required to join a growing and highly progressive IT Company from their head office based in Weybridge, Surrey. The IT Support Engineer will be working on the service desk getting involved in remote and onsite 2nd line support for my clients growing customer base all within a Microsoft environment. This will include giving telephone, remote, email and occasional face to face support, the majority of work will be completed at their head office

The successful candidate will have experience working within an IT support environment, preferably within IT outsourcing environment but this is not essential. You are likely to have experience in the following areas;

  • Windows Server administration 2016/2012/2008
  • Virtualisation - Hyper-V or VMware admin
  • Exchange 2010/2013
  • Active Directory
  • Networking
  • Windows Desktop - 7, 8 & 10
  • Anti-Virus software products
  • Microsoft Office 2013/2016/Office 365
  • Desktop Support
  • Troubleshooitng and problem solving skills.
  • Excellent written and oral communcation skills
