An IT Support Engineer is required to join a growing and highly progressive IT outsourcing company from their head office based on the outskirts of Southampton.
The role of an IT Support Engineer will be to give 1st, 2nd and some 3rd line line support to my clients growing customer base. You will be helping to support clients over the telephone, remotely and on occasion face to face, on their customers' site. You will be supporting a wide variety of technologies including Windows desktop systems, Windows Server, Networking, Virtualisation and Application Support amongst others.
The ideal candidate for the IT Support Engineer role will preferably have experience of working for an IT outsourcing company or have worked within a multi-site IT support environment, trouble shooting issues and giving excellent customer service.
You will have experience within some of the following areas:
- Desktop support covering Windows 7, 8 & 10
- Windows Server 2012, 2016
- Windows Office / Office 365
- Application Support
- Active Directory
- Exchange 2010 / 2013
- Virtualisation (Hyper-V / VMware / Virtual Box)
- ITIL Framework
As you will be speaking to my clients customers on a daily basis your communications and customer service skills must be very strong.
