IT Support Manager

Job description

IT Support Manager required by an expanding technology company located in Uckfield to proactively manage their cloud based infrastructure and application service portfolio.

Key responsibilities:

- Support the performance, peliability and security of cloud based infrastructure in line with industry best practice

- Management of the IT Operations team

- Act as the key point of escalation for service impacting issues, whilst managing and being accountable for, the quality of IT Service provision to the business

- Build and mentor a high performing team, proficient in the use of Microsoft cloud technologies and tools

- Engage proactively with users, both technical and non-technical, to ensure IT is fit for purpose and supporting the wider business objectives

- Ensure compliance to ISO 27001 processes and controls

Key experience;

- Proven background in IT management demonstrable line management experienc

- Office 365 / Azure service operations and securit

- 3rd party supplier and software asset management

- IT Project Delivery

Any prior experience supporting and / or deploying web or software applications would be advantageous, but is not essential.
