Infrastructure Analyst (Level 2)
An international company, based in Southampton is seeking an Infrastructure Analyst (Level 2) to join their existing IT Infrastructure Department to provide day to day support for existing EMEA infrastructure.
This is a great opportunity for an Infrastructure Analyst (Level 2) to develop their career further and become an integral part of the Infrastructure Department.
This is a varied role and as an Infrastructure Analyst (Level 2) you will:
- Provide 1st/2nd/3rd line support to associates and document steps taken in incidents and service requests
- Plan and perform system upgrades
- Responsible for the day to day support and maintenance of the EMEA infrastructure
- Configure, Deploy and Maintain Cisco network devices across the business
- Continuously develop technical knowledge on established and emerging infrastructure technologies
- Shares knowledge and actively mentors other team members
- Develop integrated solutions to meet business requirements / enhance performance of the IT Infrastructure services
- Provide 24x7 On Call support
- Responsible for security aspects of solutions and services
- Work with team members to deliver Infrastructure projects for all EMEA locations
- Create and maintain documentation
The successful Infrastructure Analyst (Level 2) will have experience with:
- 2 Years+ experience of Cisco Network Switching or Routing (HP ProCurve considered)
- Experience of deploying/configuring wireless technology
- WAN Optimizers experience (Riverbed preferred)
- Experience with Load Balancing; F5, HAProxy, Citrix NetScaler
- Strong troubleshooting, problem solving and communication of issues, statuses, fixes and follow-ups
- Demonstrate ability to solve moderately complex technical problems independently
- Ability to analyse and configure complex IT applications
- Proven track record of project delivery
- Demonstrate strong and effective verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
- Familiar with ITIL and MOS
- Familiar with AGILE methodologies
The role of Infrastructure Analyst (Level 2) is paying £30,000 - £40,000 with excellent benefits including, up to 26 days holiday, Pension, Dental, Private Medical, Gym Membership, free parking and more.
