Infrastructure Support Engineer required by a successful technology company based in Poole. Due to continued success and growth they are looking for an Infrastructure Support Engineer to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the infrastructure of the company's software both internally and externally for clients and provide product support for customers. The successful Infrastructure Support engineer will be responsible for:
- Maintaining and supporting the IT infrastructure for the engineering team
- Delivering product support both internally and externally
- Providing infrastructure support for the testing and development environments
- Working directly with customers to assist in set-up and troubleshooting of software
Key Criteria:
- Familiarity with Virtualisation technologies - Including Hyper-V or equivalent
- Understanding of TCP/IP Networking
- Familiarity with Windows Server and Active Directory
- Experience working in a customer-facing role
Desirable skills:
- Use of Backup Exec, Veeam or equivalent
- Experience with a range of Operating Systems
- DHCP or DNS knowledge
- Understanding of SAP/Exchange/SQL/Oracle
