Java Developer - £40k - £50k - Abingdon, Oxfordshire
A Java Developer is required by a leading niche software company based in Abingdon, Oxfordshire. They are currently expanding and looking for a Java Developer to add to their established software development team. The position will involve creating high quality enterprise software working in an agile environment.
The successful Java Developer will be working with the latest technologies on Greenfield development projects. The company offer a real commitment to personal growth including an annual training allowance.
Although the company are based in Abingdon, they are happy for this person to be predominantly remote post lockdown, with travel to the office roughly once a week.
Essential experience;
- BSc/MSc/Phd in an engineering/software/system related subject
- Java (Enterprise level preferred)
- Familiar with Agile
- Spring, Hibernate, and Web Services
Experience in the following areas would be advantageous, but is not a prerequisite;
- RDMS
- AWS
- Docker
- RabbitMQ
- Microservices
