Java Software Developer - Cloud Services
Circa £55,000 + Benefits
Surrey; Farnborough area
We are looking for an experienced Java Software Developer to join an innovative SaaS provider based in Surrey. You will join an experienced development team contributing to API development in a growing sector offering room for progression and learning new innovative technologies.
The position is for a Senior Developer with strong OOP skills (Java or TypeScript preferred) and a good background in application integration. The development team work across a broad product portfolio and you will be expected to contribute to product roadmap plans and feature delivery and optimization of code for high performance apps.
The environment offers the opportunity for the right candidate to learn new technology and grow their experience of Cloud services.
Essential experience:
- Must have a strong OOP background; Java or TypeScript
- Excellent understanding of Agile best practice and TDD, BDD principles
- Will have experience of full lifecycle API development
- Exposure to Cloud Services / Products (Azure, AWS)
- Experience of scalable backend services
- Ability to work as part of a team, working the full project life cycle
Desirable skills:
- Awareness of information security and related tools
