Java Software Developer - Java8, Web, Spring, Agile
Salary: up to £68,000 + Benefits based on experience
Surrey: Guildford, Farnborough area
We are seeking an experienced Java Software Developer to work with a successful SaaS provider offering multiplatform products. The role is ideal for candidates with a strong Java / Full stack software development background who can demonstrate strong Java/Web Application development working to Agile processes.
The company has a successful track record of delivering innovative software and systems to external customers. Due to growth and launch of new products the business are seeking a strong Java Developers to develop new features and be willing to learn new technology where required.
You will join a dynamic team offering varied project work and multiple product streams. The team follow Agile / LEAN methodology so experience of a similar environments is preferred however strong Java programing skills are essential.
Essential skills and experience;
- Extensive Java development experience
- Web Application development
- Full stack development - JavaScript, HTML, etc
- Spring
- Linux
- REST services
- Agile / SCRUM understanding
Other experience;
- Leadership or mentoring experience
- Ideally degree level educated and/or Sun/Oracle certified in Java
- Highly proficient in the full development lifecycle from inception to development
- Excellent communicator who is able to work with all levels of the business
