Job description
Junior Application Support Engineer required by a global technology company based in Brighton, East Sussex. Due to continued growth my client is looking to hire a junior application support engineer to provide level 1 technical support to their external and internal clients.
Responsibilities:
- Providing first line support to clients regarding administrative and front end use issues
- Log all activity
- Escalate advanced issues to level 2 support
- Daily health checks and system monitoring
- Assist in application upgrades and installations
- Assist in Software updates and installations
Key Requirements:
- Technical support experience
- Troubleshooting skills
- Analytical skills
- Outstanding verbal and communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft office and SQL Server
- Ability to work shift patters - 24/7 operations team
Any experience in the following would be advantageous but not essential:
- Oracle
- Jira
