Junior Automation Tester
£30,000 - £35,000 per annum
Junior Automation Tester required by a successful company based in Farnham. Due to continued success and growth they are looking for a Junior Automation Tester to join a team of software developers and work closely with the test manager. You will focus on testing the bespoke internal and external systems. The Junior Automation Tester will create and maintain an automated testing environment, including technical documentation. This is a great opportunity to really make an impact and take ownership of the full testing lifecycle. You will have commercial experience of automated and manual testing and have experience of using the full testing suite (e.g. SoapUI). The Junior Automation Tester will ideally have knowledge of C#, HTML and Selenium Web Driver.
The successful Junior Automation Tester will be responsible for;
- Implementing automated testing throughout the company
- Identity, fix and improve software before deployment
- Create technical documentation for end users
- Manual testing
Key Experience
- Strong automated testing / test automation experience
- Knowledge of using an automated testing suite (SoapUI)
- Experience of using Selenium web driver
- REST API's
These skills would be advantageous but not a prerequisite;
- Strong background in software testing, ideally in a C# environment
- Good exposure of different Testing Methodologies
- Analytic approach to testing
- Computer Science degree or equivalent
- Agile experience
