Junior C# Software Developer
£25,000 to £30,000 pa + benefits & training
Junior C# Software Developer required by a small, established technology company based in Waterlooville, near Portsmouth.
We are looking for a motivated Junior C# Software Developer to join a talented team of software developers and support engineers.
You will develop a range of services for large (BT, EE) and small telecoms providers. Work will involve development (legacy and new systems), support & maintenance and R&D. The company offer training across a range of technology and platforms to get you up to speed with the telecoms sector, network protocols and hardware integration.
The company is established and small so they are looking for a well-rounded and enthusiastic developer who is keen to make a big impact. The successful candidate will have a passion for problem solving and is likely to have a relevant degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or similar and proven commercial C# development experience.
Key Experience within a degree or professionally:
- C#
- Relational databases - MS SQL, MySQL, SQL Query writing
- An understanding on networking protocols - TCP/IP, SIP etc will be beneficial
- Excellent communication skills
- Happy to muck in with support queries when required
Any experience in any of the following areas would be advantageous, but it is not a prerequisite;
- Good understanding of Object Oriented design and Unit Testing
Applications welcome from recent graduates and college leavers with 12 months commercial experience (university or industry placement year does qualify)
