Based in Southampton; near Eastleigh, Chandlers Ford, Chilworth
Are you a Software Developer with a minimum of 1-year commercial experience? Are you looking for a role where you can work with a broad range of tech, rather than being pigeonholed into one area?
My Southampton based client are looking for a Junior or Mid-level Software Developer to join the team. This role will have a local impact to surrounding geographical areas and is ideal for those who are looking to work for an established organisation where employee happiness is key.
This organisation is currently going through a period of digital transformation including new tech, updating the IT Infrastructure and essentially digitising more of the business; so, it's an exciting time to join. They work with the latest tools, technologies and development methods to produce high-quality, user-friendly software, ranging from developing new features and functionalities for their current products, through to the full project lifecycle across web, desktop and cloud-based applications.
Working within a team of skilled Developers, this is a great opportunity for the right person to really build and improve on their skillset, with a view to take on more responsibility in the future..
The successful Software Developer will ideally have 1+ year minimum experience within a similar role, alongside a relevant degree in Computer Science or similar. Junior and mi-level developer are being considered. Those applicants which have come from a government focused background would be ideal.
Key Requirements:
- Application development & support experience covering the full project lifecycle
- C# / .NET / Visual Studio (Web, Desktop and Cloud application development)
- SQL or GUI
- Website development - JavaScript, HTML, CSS or similar
Advantageous Skills
- Salesforce administration
- Knowledge of CRM based functions
- Local government experience
