Junior Software Developer - C# - Portsmouth - £28,000 - £32,000
Our client is looking for a Software Developer with experience in C# to join the Software Development team in Portsmouth. The candidate will be focusing on mainly internal projects as well as the clients branded software products with their clients.
Main Responsibilities will include:
- Develop new software and maintain existing software in accordance with customer requirements
- Working with ream leaders and managers to support planned software releases
- Configure, upgrade and manage internal systems as well as test environments
- Recognise changes to projects and raise with relevant team leaders
- Work closely with team leaders and managers to ensure the teams have been appropriately assigned to projects and are aware of time limitations and expectations
- Using technical background to ensure you can offer support and guidance required being able to support and assist other developers at code level
Experience/ Attributes:
- Experience in C# is key
- Must be able to assist other developers at code level
- Candidate must be able to work under pressure and hit/ work towards tight deadlines
- A good understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle processes are crucial
- An awareness of automation testing is beneficial
- Degree Level or equivalent qualification in a relevant discipline (Computer Science, Software Engineering Etc)
