Lead Data Analyst

£60,000 - £70,000
We have an exciting new opportunity to work with one of the UK's fastest growing customer marketing specialists. This technology lead company have been making waves for several years in the world of business marketing, turning volumes of customer data into valuable marketing insight to deliver exponential sales performance.
In this newly created role we are seeking a Lead Data Analyst to manage a new team, commercialise data, improve the quality of the databases and ensure the business is constantly moving forward in this area.
Key Responsibilities:
Take ownership of company data and maximise its efficiency, accuracy, quality, and enrichment.
Review & appraise data processes and procedures
Present and analyse data in different ways to identify patterns and trends, present findings to a variety of business users, tech and non-tech savvy
Create the Data Analysis roadmap, adding to priorities as necessary to enable the Data Business to meet its objectives.
In time, grow and recruit a team of analysts as the role evolves and the business grows.
The ideal candidate will have…
A background in Data Analysis / Data Science, preferably involving large volumes of data
An excellent knowledge of: Excel, SQL, OLAP
A naturally inquisitive mind, with the drive to explore problems further.
Team Lead experience
An ability to challenge the status quo and uncover problems that need resolution.
A proven history of identifying and resolving business issues through data analysis, with concrete examples.
Experience of translating high tech, data driven ideas to efficiencies and profit.
Commercially aware
