Lead Developer (Java)

£31,000 - £40,000
Lead Developer (Java, HTML, CSS, JavaScript) required by a leading software house based in Worcester. They have a large presence across the UK and Europe, their support and development make them a truly diverse organisation who can offer a range of services and products to insurance companies across the UK and Europe. The main purpose of this role is to lead development within Scrum teams to deliver new products, customer developments and also support the current technical estate.
Technical Skills Required:-
Degree educated in a Computer Related Subject
Extensive experience of working on large complex software applications and databases
Extensive experience working with High volumes of data and large numbers of concurrent users
Experience of major re-design of complex enterprise solutions
Experience of leading software development projects in Java with HTML, CSS and JavaScript
Use & implementation of Design Patterns
Tackling performance and scalability issues on a large, high-through-put system
Responsibilities include:-
Leading cross-functional Scrum teams
Provide technical leadership
Acting in the role of coach and mentor to other members of the team
Enhance scalability and performance of all systems
Delivering new customs requirements as efficiently as possible
