Our client who are a locally based Insurance provider is looking for a Lead Java Engineer to join their talented and fast-growing team.
With nearly 40 years' worth of experience in their field, they pride themselves in being the preferred technology partner of a number of popular insurance brokers in both the UK and European markets.
With over 400 employees across multiple sites and owning 40% of the market share in what they do, they have established themselves as a true leader in the software market.
As the Lead Java Engineer you will be a senior member within a fast-paced agile development team, that is responsible for the design, build and support of highly scalable services and web applications.
The successful Lead Engineer will have the following skills and experience:
- Java 8
- Angular
- REST / SOAP
- MySQL
- Experience mentoring junior team members
- Experience being a senior member of a development team
The role of Lead Java Engineer is paying up to £60,000 DOE and comes with a wide range of benefits.
