Lead .Net Web Developer

The Company

Lead .NET Web Developer required by a successful software company located in Southampton. With an established international following, a growing user base and a reputation for providing exceptional service and support to customers worldwide the Lead .Net Web Developer will be joining an established company that takes great pride in the development of its software.

The use of the latest technologies and development methods, allied to the use of the latest technical expertise enable the company to generate its software in timescales that were previously not thought possible.

Customers include companies of all sizes, charities, individual users, consultants and students.

The Role

The Lead .NET Web Developer will take ownership of the complete redevelopment of a tripartite software system. This will see their technology stack shift from Ruby on Rails to .NET. The Lead .NET Web Developer will be responsible for suggesting and implementing suitable frameworks, tools and technologies with which to rebuild one a highly business-critical software system.

Responsibilities to include, but not limited to; hands on programming (largely .NET & JavaScript), software architecture/design, product/project management, technical leadership, mentoring and stakeholder management.

Key Experience

  • Extensive .NET web development
  • Knowledge of one or more JavaScript framework; React, Angular or similar
  • Software architecture and design
  • Technical team leadership
  • Mentoring junior developers
  • Liaising with stakeholders at various levels of seniority both technical and non-technical
