Lead Software Developer - (C#, ASP.Net, .Net Core) - FinTech

We have an excellent opportunity for a Leader in Technology to join a successful FinTech software company at the beginning of an exciting journey. The company have big growth plans and a very exciting pipeline of work with an impressive range of financial clients. They are advocates of modern technology, innovation and product R&D and are looking for ambitious and talented developers to help them evolve and capitalise on this huge opportunity. In return you will be exposed to leading edge technology (both internally and through external training), you will develop your own skills and experience and become a developer with cutting edge technical ability.

There is a huge emphasis on you as a person, your technical journey up until now and where you want to take that? The company will happily invest in you and the development team if you show the commitment and desire to learn. They are currently sending developers on external training to learn TDD, Azure, Devops and cloud technology.
You will gain great exposure to greenfield projects and a company at the start of a major scale-up. You will learn a huge amount working here and become a well-rounded and talented developer in the process.
The company are going through a process of change and moving their product suite into the Cloud and they are ideally looking for someone who comes from a strong technical background with Visual Studio, C# and been through a similar technical evolution. You will be responsible for pushing forward technology within the team and have a solid technical background in:-
- C#, Asp.Net. Core C# experience is essential, you will be tested on it!
- Knowledge of MVC or Web Forms or .Net Web API
- A sound understanding of SQL Server and relational databases
- Knowledge of Unit Testing is beneficial
- Conceptual, academic or commercial awareness of Object Oriented design and design patterns, data structures, algorithms
- Very converse with MS Stack Visual Studio / Azure / DevOps
- Scrum Master is attractive but not essential
We want you to get involved in a range of their hardest problems, by helping other in the team when they hit those inevitable hurdles and by helping to define and refine great ways of working here. They are a small team with no real hierarchy, no bureaucracy, everyone is equal with the same tools and processes. It's up to you what you do with them!
