PHP DevOps Engineer
An exciting new opportunity for a DevOps Engineer to join an established entrepreneurial business based in Fareham.
This company specialise in the design, development and release of a new web based cyber security tool. You will be using the latest release of web technology including OOP, PHP, LAMP, XHTML, CSS, jQuery to help with development along with system and database configuration, troubleshooting and support.
The work is full stack with an emphasis on embracing modern development practices including Continuous Integration. The company also uses PHPUnit to ensure high standards of development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintenance of existing codebase
- Support of core infrastructure
- Working on full product lifecycle
- Providing updates on workloads, projects and timescales
To be successful in this role you will have a skill set that includes:
- OOP
- PHP7
- MySQL
- MVC
- SOLID principles
- SQL
- Linux
Also nice to have:
- PHP Unite
- Google cloud / AWS
- Bash / GoLang
- Load Balancing
- Cassandra, Redis, RabbitMQ
