Product Manager - Software / Web - eCommerce
Hampshire; Fareham, Portsmouth area
Salary up to £50,000 - £65,000 based on experience
An excellent opportunity for an experienced Product Manager / Product Owner to join an established but growing business at an exciting time as they invest heavily in IT with numerous project and products running.
Candidates applying must demonstrate experience working on systems/applications which manage complex data, ideally for an ecommerce, retail or high volume trading product
Role
The Product Manager owns the roadmap for each product area, ensuring that it is in line with the overall objectives and is clearly communicated to the development team ensuring solutions are feasible, scalable and will deliver tangible business benefits.
A key emphasis of this role is collaboration with the business stakeholders and the attached development teams. Within the team the role will ensure the Product Team is focused on delivering change with high business value. Covering research, specification, planning and delivery, this role spans the complete change lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- The role is accountable for decisions regarding priority of work done by the Agile development team.
- Managing effective communication across all areas of the business, specifically the technical development teams.
- Management of teams and projects where required
- Process improvement, specifically implementing and following Agile Scrum processes to deliver change to digital products
- Accountability for a Product with a visionary but economic approach to decision making, balancing business/customer needs and technical feasibility
- Requirement gathering, demonstrate a proven track record of gathering business requirements and translating them into user stories
