Release Train Engineer - Contract - SCRUM, Software, DevOps - Basingstoke
Your Role:
As the Release Train Engineer you will work across the various functions of within the Development team of a large organisation. The business function provides mature agile development services for a number of internal stakeholders for a wide range of Software products. You will work closely with the product owners, the scrum teams and the Business Analysts across the business. Your role as the Release Train Engineer will include;
- Ensuring the feature backlogs are aligned to the project milestones
- Co-ordinating regular release planning ceremonies to align separate scrum teams to key milestones
- Working with the architecture function you will organise products as a set of components each with their own configuration control and release train
About You:
You will be an experienced Release Train Engineer who enjoys being hands on to ensure that component development is co-ordinated. Your experience and skills will include;
- A software background would be ideal, having previously worked as a Developer of Tester previously
- Extensive experience within Scrum environments, having worked previously in an environment where several teams are contributing to a shared product
- Experienced ideally to superuser level in the use of an ALM tool
