Job description
Software Engineer required by a high-tech, niche product development company located in Southampton. Due to continued success and expansion the company is looking to grow its software team.
The successful Software Developer will have proven experience writing solid, tested code and following design patterns. The main focus would be on back end development - MVC and desktop applications and complex processing, interfacing with external databases.
The Software Developer should be comfortable with web and desktop development and will have the chance to work on DevOps related work e.g. provisioning databases and setting up cloud based systems. Whilst the majority of work is currently on Azure, the company's product offering is constantly evolving offering the chance to work with varied, cutting edge technologies across the board.
In this role, the Software Developer will work in each of the following areas;
- C#
- MVC
- LINQ
- Cloud Services / Azure
- Dependency Injection
- Entity Framework
- NUnit
- C++, F# and a variety of different software languages
Any experience in machine learning, time series analysis, AI or similar data science techniques would be advantageous.
