Security Engineer - London - up to £80,000
Incident response/ Security Consulting / Enterprise IT / Security Architecture / MDR / EDR / Threat Hunting
I'm working with a fantastic, widely recognised based in London looking for an experienced Security Engineer to join their team. They are looking for candidates with experience and a good understanding of enterprise IT, Security architecture and incident response to join their experienced and renowned Security Consultant team working directly with their clients and customers and continue to build and progress on the relationship as well as tailoring the managed service that detects and responds to cyber attacks.

Responsibilities will include:
- Help successfully deliver the Managed service they offer to their clients that both detects and responds to cyber attacks
- Work with each customer to continually tailor and improve their service as per their unique and individual business requirements
- Support and suggest changes to the customers' networks and systems and really maximise their value from the service
- Work closely with other internal trams for the best outcomes
- Demonstrate value and insights to the customer through continuing customisation and improvements and attend technical and executive face to face meetings to demonstrate this
- Make recommendations using data insights generated by other internal teams
- Understand each unique customer environment and their IT, Security and general business strategy to best advise them moving forward
- Act as the technical point of contact for the customers you're responsible for
What They're looking for:
- 3+ Years' experience in a similar security consulting or incident response position
- Passion for information security
- Passionate about continuous improvement of customer experience
- Outside of the box thinkers - they look for candidates who work on unique solutions to common problems
- Solid technical understanding of enterprise IT and Security architecture
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as fantastic presentation skills
- Happy to do a small amount of travel to client meetings (up to 20% of the time)
- Understanding of Incident response, MDR, EDR and Threat Hunting
- Experience in Offensive security testing and techniques
- Experience in preventative and particularly detection and response security controls
- Ideally have a development/ coding background with an understanding of scripting or coding in Python, Ruby, Powershell
