Senior Automation Test Engineer / Software Developer in Test

Are you a Senior Automation Test Engineer / Software Developer in Test looking for career progression or an opportunity to work in a forward thinking software team?
We are looking for a Senior Automation Test Engineer / Software Developer in Test to join a talented software team developing sophisticated software for a range of well-known retail and consumer services companies.
You will have strong automation skills and have the experience to implement the automated test framework within the business across an enterprise solution but also be hands-on technically. This position involves close interaction with the development and functional team members.
You will be results driven and passionate about hitting deadlines, this software is developed for retail so it is very fast paced reactive environment so things need to be produced on time and to budget and it will be your passion and dedication that will do this.
Particular Duties will include:
- Take a lead QA role in the scrum team
- Perform functional, non-functional, regression, performance, exploratory, UX / UI testing
- Implement automated test strategies, develop and run automated tests
- Investigate test failures, raise bugs
- Develop test plans and scripts from business / technical requirements and specifications
Required Skills:
- Extensive experience of multi-tier test automation and test methodologies, tools and frameworks
- 3 years + experience in a Senior Software Testing role
- Testing for MS Windows
- Full knowledge of system lifecycle and your role in it
- Experience of Test-Driven development (TDD) and Behavior Driven Development (BDD)
- Java
- Selenium
- Agile: Scum / Kanban
- Waterfall
Desired Skills
- ISTQB Foundation Certification
- Experience working with iSeries
- Cucumber and Gherkin
- qTest
Salary & Benefits:
