Senior Developer / Tech Lead
- PHP, OOP, Laravel, Magento
Remote - Must be based in UK, preferably Hampshire.

We are looking for a Senior Developer / Tech Lead to take charge of a small & talented team of developers based in Hampshire. They are constantly pushing the boundaries of design and web development solutions and consist of a small group of passionate strategic thinkers, creative minds, and technical specialists.
We are looking for someone who is an experienced back-end developer skilled in PHP, Node JS and Python. The successful candidate will be a key team player in helping advance an exciting roadmap of features for a main greenfield project.
The role encompasses the development of our many clients e-commerce platforms and CMS requirements, mostly in Magento 2. Other client projects would require Laravel, Wordpress, Craft CMS and other PHP based frameworks.Django and Express on Nodejs this role will support our Magento 2 development. An understanding of Magento core code, logic and architecture would be advantageous, as well as being well versed in the frontend development of Magento and other e-commerce websites, such as Shopify.
Job type: Full time, permanent
Salary: Competitive and negotiable depending on experience.
Location: Hampshire (with remote working options)
You will have experience in the following:
- Strong OO PHP
- PHP framework exposure (Laravel, Symfony, etc)
- Database design (MySQL etc)
- Git version control experience
- Agile methodology understanding
- Restful API exposure
- Experience in Magento 2 core framework
- An expert in PHP
- Exposure to Node.js and python
- REST API's
- TDD, especially the development of unit tests
Desirable:
- WordPress
- Other Zend frameworks
- Craft CMS
- Knowledge of Google Cloud Platform, AWS, Azure
- Front End JavaScript framework knowledge (vue.js, angular, react, etc...)
