Job description
Currently going through an exciting transformation, my client based is seeking a Senior Java Developer to work at the forefront of a new key initiative, working with new technologies to design and build an API Platform.
The company is well established with a large Java Development team, who are also utilising modern technologies such as Node and AWS, based in Newbury with further development teams at various locations in the UK.
They are growing steady, continuing to hire at this time and recently acquiring technical business that complement their software and services.
As Senior Java Developer you will work with Domain Experts, Developers and Solutions Architects to determine technologies and toolsets.
You will be a valued member of the development team using your 'hands on' development skills to complete projects.
The successful candidate will have significant experience with:
- API architecture design, API ecosystems and best practice
- Understanding of API Security standards
- Experience of multiple languages, ideally Java and Node
- Message broker such as Active MQ, Rabbit MQ or Kafka
- Microservices Architecture
- Docker and Kubernetes
The role of Senior Java Developer is paying circa £65,000 with benefits including 25 days holiday, enhanced pension, Life Assurance, free parking and more.
